Keeping in touch with the community

MVV is committed to continuous community involvement to ensure that the public is kept informed and able to communicate its views on MVV's activities. One of the ways we do this is via the Incinerator Liaison Committee (ILC) which enables members of the community to get involved and discuss with MVV, the South West Devon Waste Partnership, the Environment Agency, the local Council and the Ministry of Defence those questions relevant to them.

The Committee meets on a regular basis to discuss issues arising, forthcoming events on site and community benefits through the Section 106 agreement. Minutes of these meetings are made available to the public as soon as they have been agreed between the ILC members. The ILC Terms of Reference, an ILC members list and minutes can be found here.
