Increase in regular dividend and distribution of a special one-off dividend
With adjusted EBIT of Euro 880 million (previous year: Euro 353 million), MVV Energie AG (ISIN: DE000A0H52F5; WKN: A0H52F) set a striking record for its earnings in the 2023 financial year (1 October 2022 – 30 September 2023). At Euro 747 million, adjusted operative earnings, i.e. excluding disposal gains, also exceeded the most recent forecast of Euro 650 million to Euro 720 million.
MVV’s Executive and Supervisory Boards will therefore propose to the 2024 Annual General Meeting that the regular dividend should be increased by Euro 0.10 to Euro 1.15 per share. To mark the 150th anniversary of MVV and its predecessor companies in 2023 and the company’s exceptional earnings performance, they will also propose the distribution of a special one-off dividend of Euro 0.30 per share.
MVV will present its full annual results on 14 December 2023 at this year’s Annual Results Press Conference and the subsequent Analysts’ Conference. The Annual General Meeting of the energy company will take place on 8 March 2024.
