Matthias Brückmann to remain on MVV Energie AG Executive Board for further five years
The Supervisory Board of the Mannheim-based energy company MVV Energie AG has extended the contract with Matthias Brückmann (49), the member of the Executive Board responsible for sales, for a further five years through to the end of July 2017.
This was announced by the company on Thursday following a meeting of the Supervisory Board.
Matthias Brückmann has been a member of the Executive Board of the publicly listed group of companies since August 2007. Alongside sales, he is also responsible for the business fields of environmental energy and energy-related services, as well as for trading. Brückmann was previously CEO of Energieversorgung Offenbach AG (EVO), one of the shareholdings of the MVV Energie Group, from 2003 onwards, having already spent several years as Sales Director at MVV Energie.
MVV Energie currently has a total workforce of around 6,000 employees in Germany and abroad and generated sales of almost Euro 3.4 billion in the past 2009/10 financial year. The group of companies includes shareholdings in Offenbach, Kiel, Solingen and Ingolstadt, as well as in the Czech Republic.
