Tendering opportunities

We believe in giving equal opportunities to potential suppliers and we try to award as much work as possible to companies local to our UK facilities, subject to them being competent, capable and affordable. We have a procurement system which facilitates this, resulting in purchase orders and contracts being issued on a regular basis to support our multi-million-pound operations and maintenance requirements.

Our ecological and social responsibilities also extend to our suppliers and therefore form an important component of MVV’s procurement terms and a key aspect when it comes to selecting suppliers and products.

MVV Environment’s UK businesses expect you to pay your direct staff who come to work at any of our UK Facilities the Real Living Wage as recognised by the Living Wage Foundation (registered charity No. 1107264) UK wide and the Poverty Alliance (registered charity no SCO19926) in Scotland. Other factors that play a role in our selection process include efforts to fight corruption, to uphold human and employee rights and environmental protection. Within our electronic supplier management system, all new suppliers are required to make disclosures concerning environmental protection and social responsibility. Where possible, we particularly value local providers.
